|PERSONNEL ISSUE DECIDED|
COUNCIL DISMISSES CHIEF SPAIN 6-9-10 LMS
On a vote of four to two the Salmon City Council has dismissed the city’s Police Chief Jim Spain.
The decision came during a special June 9th public meeting of the council which began with a 30 minute executive session in which the personnel issue was discussed.
The council returned to the open meeting and heard public comments. After the comments an official role call vote was initiated.
Those voting in favor of the dismissal were Councilmen Ken Gutzman, Jim Kluesner, Bud Bartlett and Ron Radford. Those opposed were Councilman Jim Baker and Council President Leo Marshall.
