CANDIDATES DECLARE FOR NOVEMBER 9-9-11 LMS
The future occupants of four of the six seats on the Salmon City Council will be decided in the November 8 General Election along with a four year Mayoral term.
Three of the council seats carry four year terms and one is for a two year term.
As of the Declaration for Candidacy 5PM September 9 deadline the following residents have filed for the offices.
The seven candidates running for the City Council two year term are: Incumbent Councilman Harry “Bud” Bartlett; Jessica “Jesse” Bender; Russell Chinske; James Earl; Krissy Lamont; Andrew B. Stenersen and James R. Sustaire.
The eight candidates vying for the three four year term seats are: Incumbent Councilmen Fred Waidely and Kenneth Hill; James R. Bockelman; Joey Foote; William Hill; Dean “Rob” Jackson; Calvin B. Leman and Robert Wiederrick.
Incumbent Mayor Leo Marshall has declared his intention to run for a four year mayoral term.
