|COMMUNITY PRIDE DAY|
CLEAN UP TIME 5-18-12 LMS
This yearís Community Pride Days, sponsored by the City of Salmon, will begin on June 12th.
Trucks will be available to remove yard refuse such as tree limbs and shrubbery, appliances and tires. All residents have to do is stop by city hall and complete a sign-up form. The form will ask for the participantís address and a list of materials to be picked up. Those who want to have trucks haul away those materials cluttering up the property must apply in person by June 11th.
The city will not be accepting rocks, concrete, household garbage, construction materials, animal carcasses or any hazardous materials. All items must be sorted and accessible at the street front or alley.
There is a $10 collection fee or a $5 fee if the resident qualifies for the Circuit Breakers program. A $25 fee will be charged in advance for freezers or refrigerators still containing Freon. The cost covers the required professional removal of Freon.
Tires will be picked up for the rate charged by the landfill.
The city encourages residents to take advantage of this opportunity to unload the overload and participate in Community Pride Days.
