|DEADWATER ICE JAM REPORT|
ICE JAM MAY BEGIN RETREATING 12-10-13
Ice observations on the Salmon River as of Wednesday afternoon show the southern edge of the Deadwater ice jam was nine and a half miles north of the town of Salmon and is 16 and a half miles long.
Although there is still plenty of frazzle ice floating down the river the ice jam is expected to stop building and begin retreating due to warmer temperatures.
