PLAQUE PRESENTATION 1-8-14 LMS

Mayor Leo Marshall presented outgoing council member Jessie Bender with a plaque of appreciation during the council’s first meeting of 2014.

Marshal expressed pleasure in having been able to work with her for the last two years. He said, “With your school teacher knowledge and skill I think you added a lot to our council.”

Following last Wednesday’s the plaque presentation Salmon City Clerk Mary Benton administered the Oath of Office to re- elected incumbent Jim Baker and newly elected members of the City Council Russ Chinski and Rob Jackson. All were elected to a four year terms.

After the official swearing-in the council re-elected Baker as Council President. Baker has been on the Salmon City Council since 2006 and this will be his third year as President.
