MEETING DATES SET AND RESET 4-16-14 LMS
The Salmon City Council has reworked two previous work session dates around the April 29 Candidate Forum and conflicts in schedules.
The work session to discuss proposed changes to the City Development Code has been changed from the 29th to Thursday, May 1.
The City/County work session to discuss Emergency Services Dispatch costs was moved from April 30 to Tuesday, May 6.
Both work sessions will begin at 5:30 PM in the Salmon Valley Center meeting room. Both sessions are open to public attendance but are not public hearings. The sessions are to discuss all aspects of the topics. Any formal decisions resulting from the discussions will be made at a subsequent official meeting.
A date of July 16 has been selected for a public hearing on the fiscal year 2014-15 City Budget. The hearing will take place during the second council meeting of the month.
A tentative date of June 12 has been set for a 2 PM Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Salmon’s newly upgraded Waste Water Treatment Plant. The event will include visiting dignitaries, project contractors, engineers, grant agencies and local officials. The public is encouraged to attend the official ceremony and take part in tours of the facility immediately following the Ribbon Cutting.
